Dick Sargent Born April 19th

Richard Stanford Cox was born April 19th, 1930 in Carmel By The Sea, CA. Cox took the stage name Dick Sargent from a Saturday Evening Post illustrator. Sargent's acting career began with the 1954 movie Prisoner of War and is most remembered for his role playing Darren Stevens in Bewitched after Dick York left the show because of health issues. Sargent came out in 1991. Sargent and  Albert Williams were partners until Sargent's death from prostate cancer in 1994.
