Count Robert de Montesquiou-Fezensac Born On March 7th

The Count was born March 7th in Paris. The acid-tongued, dandy aristocrat is reputed to be the inspiration for Proust's Baron du Charlu in his "À la recherche du temps perdu". Friend and supporter of Degas, Verlaine. Moreau, Whistler, Mallarmé, and the afore mentioned Proust.
