Winter Kept Us Warm

Winter Kept Us Warm is a Canadian indy film by David Secter. It debuted at 1965's Commonwealth Film Festival as the opening film. It also screened at Cannes. Doug and Peter (John Labow and Henry Tarvainen) are students at the University of Toronto, who develop a pseudo romantic relationship despite girlfriends Bev and Sandra (Joy Tepperman and Janet Amos).. Secter's screenplay is based on his own experience of falling in love with a male student.
