Anniversary Of Jérôme Duquesnoy's Death



The Privy Council of Ghent convicts Flemish sculptor Jérôme Duquesnoy is convicted of sodomy charges and sentences him to be bound at a stake, strangled to death and his body burnt on this date in 1654.
