Lesley Gore Born May 2nd

Lesley Sue Goldstein was born May 2nd, 1946 in New York City and was raised in Tenafly, NJ. Mr Goldstein's wealth from making children's clothes and swimsuits afforded more than enough money to send Lesley to a college prep school. It was during 1963, her junior year, that her song "It's My Party" would launch her singing career. In a 2005 interview Gore publicly stated that she is a lesbian.
